Aiken County moved one step closer to becoming the world’s largest manufacturer of Bridgestone tires on Monday, according to Barry Owens, Bridgestone’s vice president of manufacturing, after the company unveiled the first set of tires produced by a recent expansion at its Graniteville plant.

Recleim, a start-up recycler of appliances and e-waste materials, today announced that the company will establish its first recycling plant in Aiken County. During the RecyclonomicsSC event today at the Statehouse, Recleim committed to a $40.6 million investment that is expected to generate 200 new jobs.
